Dance, Beads and Texture

Most of my closest friends know that I am in love with my dance classes at Sfactor. It's like a heavy dose of endorphins in a bottle, two hours twice a week. Slow moving, undulating femme in a dark room; moving however slow or spirited your inner girl may take you.

It's said somewhere that our purpose in life is to live creatively. And 'creatively' can take on many forms of the word: volunteer work, making someone smile, creating a new business model; simply thinking outside of the box and somehow contributing to the world in your fullest form.

I'm finding that my love for Tashi came from a much deeper place. Like a container that is filled with beautiful things, dance and Tashi became intertwined. From dancing in different fabrics and textures created my new love for couture beading. Another hobby or rather, another possibility. How sweet it is to create things that have always stopped me in my tracks – things like, shiny, beady, texturized, colorful pillows, or a delicate embellished scarf. What piece of beauty makes you stop in your tracks?

I wonder what is next for Tashi. Swimsuits? Dancewear?

Not every career path, choice, or passion may come from a conscious, thought out decision. If we simply move through each moment (much like moving through a dark room trusting our senses), we find the answer and live color'fully' with purpose.
